Primary Leadership Development programme was started in May 2022. PLDP, launched by Nursery-Primary Branch DoE, is a platform to create a network of the Assistant teachers to share; learn from each other; share the best practices; find solutions to common issues, plan strategies to achieve Learning Outcomes; devise uniform and standardized tools to assess Development Milestones of the students; grow together; do away with the culture of working in silos and to weave a web of learning that encompasses each child. Which is expected to benefit around 6000 assistant teachers as well as approximately 136424 students of DoE.
