With an objective to nurture the inherent talent of the primary students, develop their mental & logical strength, boost planning skills, deepen focus and to improve memory, classroom games were introduced in 2022.Under this initiative Primary Chess League, a state level championship for the students of Sarvodaya Vidyalayas, was organized at Thyagraj Stadium last year. Taking the legacy further Second edition of the Primary Chess league was organized in December 2023.
