Nursery Primary Branch, Directorate of Education, GNCT of Delhi, implemented the pilot for the innovative Learning Corners initiative in five schools for primary students in 2023. Seven learning corners catering to different learning domains such as literacy & Numeracy, Art & craft, Dramatic play, Science and Life skills were set up in all classrooms for nursery to second grade. The aim is to organize the indoor environment to be inclusive, welcoming, colorful and joyful, that supports every child’s participation in classroom learning.
