The much-anticipated 2nd State Level Art Exhibition for primary students was held on 23/09/2024 by Nursery Primary Branch, Directorate of Education GNCTD, showcasing the remarkable creativity of young artists from Sarvodaya Vidyalayas under DoE. The Exhibition aimed to encourage young artists and provide a platform for them to showcase their artistic talents. Out of the numerous submissions of approximately 1,300 entries received from 483 Sarvodaya Vidyalayas, the best 100 entries were shortlisted by a panel of expert judges for the State Level Competition held on 13/09/2024 to select top 20 winners.
The Exhibition was inaugurated by worthy Addl. DE & Director (SCERT) Dr. Rita Sharma. She was fascinated by the artistic talent of such tiny students and praised their amazing talent. After Deepdaan ceremony, the DDE (Nursery Primary Branch) welcomed all the guests, participants of State Level Competition and the escort teachers present in the event.
Before the prize distribution ceremony, the audience was treated to a variety of cultural performances by primary students from several schools.
After that, top 20 students (selected through the State Level Competition held on 13/09/2024) were awarded with trophies and Certificate of Appreciation.
In her address after the Prize Distribution Ceremony, the Chief Guest Dr. Rita Sharma remarked, "The creativity of our young students is a testament to the bright future of art in our society. It is heartening to see such raw talent being nurtured at such an early age." She praised the talents of these students of primary classes not only the participants of the competition but also the students who performed in the cultural items.
The programme was ended with the National Anthem presented by the students of primary classes.
